With her breath still riding his lips
He left empty handed
It's how he came
It's how he'd leave

Just a hair on her pillow
And a smile on her skin
He loved her like Jesus
And fucked her like God

She'll repent tomorrow...
For today
She'd like to sleep
Feeling blessed.
Pepper- I am faith without religion, without bruised knees and pleas for forgiveness...

It's a difficult world when we as individuals have to hide our pleasures because of what 'they' say should be right or wrong.
And even if what she did is wrong and she feels that she still needs to find pleasure in it, it is also the facade that we have set up to do harm and have an avenue to express it through repenting that I find disagreeable.
    I dislike labels a lot.

I don't have many wishes because I do find that footing my existence on the evidence that is provided by history & results of my actions seems to work for me, but this one wish I have is that I wish we could all just be. We could love anyone like Jesus and fuck anyone like God ... that would seem to be a very peaceful place & it gives me the impression that no one would be hungry. Not even for a day.

You have real talent pepper. It shines when you write because your pieces have emotions in the forefront.

I love how 'she' knows that repenting will take something out of her ... leave her weak in a sense ... and so today, she'll keep herself from that by putting it off and resting from what comes next which is acting out what does not make her feel blessed.

    Brilliant!
