One song I have ALWAYS loved and wished they would have released on Lost Dogs is Falling or Falling Down. They played it Red Rocks '95. I never hear many people talk about it, but its a great song. Would love to hear a studio version of it. If you look at the inside of Lost Dogs, you'll see it listed there on the inside artwork.

maybe we might get a studio version with the no code/yield reissue??? positive thoughts!

God I hope they dont reissue every single album they've ever done. Atleast not in the same two year period.

Thanks, it would be nice to have this in English completely. Now I know that they have recorded "Of The Earth" in dec 2004 and again in May 2010 (maybe this will be the "Eastern Single 2011 ;) "? And I also found out that "Longing To Belong", "Your're True", "Satellite" and "Goodbye"? (Say Goodbye?) from the Uke album where recorded in Feb/may? 2002 (Riot Act)... I wonder if Eddie has re-recorded many of these older Ukulele songs or if the ones we will hear on the album are these recorded in 2002?

    WOW

How does anyone know this information?!

It must be someone who works closely with the band like a studio engineer or co-producer or then they have decided to let the fans know of all recordings and someone has been given all the studio information. Or maybe it's from the laptop that was stolen when Jeff was attacked in Atlanta when they recorded Backspacer?

Lets hope!!!!! The more b-sides, outtakes, different versions that get released, the better!!!

Forget it. It was an improv. Just like the countless other improvs that don't become studio songs.

Don't get me wrong - I love Falling Down, but it was OTOTO.

He did say that a while ago but unfortunately nothing has come of it. With them going into the studio for the next album shortly, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Even though i would like to hear the b-sides i am really pleased to hear that they are all ready going back into the studio for the next record. :)

Didn't McCready say in an interview a while back that they were going to release an EP with some of the Backspacer b-sides? Has anybody heard anything on this?

I don't think it was set in concrete that a release was gonna happen.

maybe they're saving them for another lost dogs? There weren't too many off of "Pearl Jam" either right?
Anyway hope they show up some time! What about Riot Act? Can't remember and too lazy to look.

Of The Earth is from Avocado sessions.

I dont think it was an improv. It shows up 2 times in the No Code recording sessions and on the inside artwork of Lost Dogs. Plus, I have the video for Red Rocks 95 when they played it and its very arranged & organized. They all are sitting down for the 1st 6 songs at the beginning of the show. Plus his lyrics make sense and aernt all over the place like normal improvs.

I wouldn't be surprised if most of those tracks listed were just titles used before Ed added lyrics. I know on the Death Magnetic demos, all the songs were called something completely different before James added the lyrics.

However, someone once said on here that a b-sides disc to Avocado did exist, and was "out there", but they wouldn't elaborate, nor would they respond to pm's about it.

I tend to think most of the songs in the later years that you see in the recording sessions are pretty full, but I know what you mean. For example, most of these songs all became real songs:
    Dollar Short
    Richard's 'E'
    Weird 'A'
    'E' Ballad
    Doobie 'E'
    The King
    Folk 'D'
    Times Of Trouble
    Evil 'E'
    Agytian Crave
    7Up

Also, you'll see names of songs, that actually ended up changing, like Crapshoot Rapture, which became Comatose. Or 1:50, 100 Pacer, which became Lukin.

As far as that Avacado b-sides disc goes, I would absolutley LOVE to have that. I LOVE Avacado. One of my favorite PJ albums. IDK why it doesnt get more love. To each their own I guess. If anybody has that b-sides and whats to shoot me a PM, that would be great! Haha

I think the Vedder uke album was recorded years ago. Vedder actually played some of them live for the first time in 2002. On 2/26 & 3/15

Of course we want a new album above all. That goes without saying. I wasnt saying drop everything and release this EP. I wasnt wondering if something was already in the works or planned based on what McCready said a while back. :)
