Why are the St. Paul '06 shows so short?

I've noticed that the St. Paul '06 shows are the shortest of the year. Not even one encore!! What is up with that?

I've seen the fan DVD for the second night and didn't notice anything happen that would make them stop. So what was the deal?

Yeah, they couldn't play too long cause Tom Petty had a full set scheduled as well.

Another demonstration of how cool Pearl Jam is. They easily could've played their own shows, but they were excited (and honored) to play with Tom Petty and were totally ok acting as the "opening" band.
    Cheers!

Same with Denver. Great shows even though they were shorter than most. I saw Bee Girl at Denver 1.
