Auction (farm-land & house)

This is something. It is huge, not just in size. I am a close friend with this family who have this farm located on the banks of the Mississippi river. This is some of the richest soil in the world. It was once larger than it urrently is. Some land was sold over the years. Today 131 acres of prime farm-land is available for purchase through an auction in June. This farm should stay with the family and or in the right hands.

Description:
One amazing barn, one large garage, one incredible 2 story farm house with a finished basement, 7 bedrooms, 3 bath, 2 fireplaces - one in the basement, one in the family room, one round about asphalt driveway, one swimming pool with pump house attached to the garage. The pool is currently filled with dirt. The barn has one apartment upstairs - (outside entrance), one doll house - (inside entrance) upstairs in the loft. Barn needs work.

All surrounded by farms.

We need 1 or 2 million dollars. (GUESSING)

This is currently where I am living. My job is taking care of the place, holding the fort down.

Farm aid... ? How does something like that work?

I have a vision.
Thank you.

I lived by many farms when I was little....then when I was 12, big corporate housing big-wigs decided that horses suck and tightly packed in housing complexes rule.

I think tightly packed housing complexes suck.

ziggy has been looking for you....better drop a dime on her.

sadly, big business is taking over farms just like everything else. my uncle and cousin still run a small farm back home. the raise a few sheep but that's about it. used to do more, but my uncle is getting towards retirement and also they run other businesses. most farm land has been devoted to "pet" animals.

my grampa farmed as well, but he gave that up 20 years ago. just sold off most of the acres a year or two ago. :(

welcome to my area. up until 50 years or so ago, this area used to be all farmland. now it's suburbia.

Recently I went back home and went to the farm where I used to ride horses. It is now a development called Beaver Snatch or some shit like that. I will never understand the names of these developments or the reason they exist.

I hope you can save the farm Chad.
