hello.

i just purchased the new vs. + vitalogy best buy limited edition collector's packages that include an exclusive t-shirt. the sets at my local store only included a size xl t-shirt and i am looking to trade my size xl set for a size small set, if they were even printed up in that size. at the last rate, i would take medium. the sets in my possession are still sealed with the price tag and stickers on them.

this is true, sparky. i edited my post above to at least specify that i am looking for the sets with small or medium t-shirts included. i know how people can work on technicalities and i wouldn't want to just get a box.

usually those giveaway shirts aren't well made. I bet if you throw it in the wash it will shrink right down for you!

well, i can bring them to a tailor and get them resized for about $12.50, so if that is my last resort, it isn't so bad.

i didn't get a chance to look whether they had the sde box sets or not, sorry. there was a tiny display of the 3-cd set amongst other new releases, and the cd/t-shirt box set was in the pearl jam artist section in best buy.

A friend of mine in Canada somehow got the SDE at his local record store today.

What was the price? The record store could buy from Sony and resell but that price plus their markup should make the 10c route a better buy still.

Apparently it wasn't the SDE in his local record store, it was the 3 cd set. He sounded gutted when he told him earlier. He said they are trying to get it in stock. Didn't say what price. I'd be surprised if they get it to be honest.
