    10c have their presale for fan club tickets..i guess if this site have te right to sell tickets for a venue whats the problem?

    it just frustrates me a little that somebody somewhere is a greedy f$$k, and has more power than us as 10c members. I thought becoming a member of the fanclub gets us first chance at tickets. its frustrating to see that this just falls throught the cracks and we just take it like were sheep. pretty sad imo....i just looked and one venue is charging almost $700 to sit within the first 3-4 rows....at least give us the fans to try and sit there at a similiar cost and cut out the broker.

    i don't know...i just look forward to 10c announcements and being able to take advantage of being a member because i'm really only a member for tickets...

    maybe i'm over reacting and jumping to conclusions but please point it out how?

    i'm 37 years old and have been to many, many concerts...but this is pearl jam, they guys fought ticketmaster, they stand for doing the right thing and this is not one of them.

    I'll shut up now, because i don't want to jeopardize my membership status of anything else. I just really love the band...

    understand that..but be a member give you the right to buy fan club tickets..but not all the venue is with fan club tickets..so exept 10c ,other sites,like livenation,ticketmaster etc sells tickets..10c has the best ticket in the venue when its for pj gig..now its eddie solo and tickets are not with senority..

    In that case you must know that LN/TM control the distribution of tickets and that the 10c only gets 8-10% percent of the tickets for any one show. Yes PJ stands for doing the right thing, but they have no control over 90% of the tickets. It has nothing to do with pearl jam and everything to do with TM/LN trying to capture profits made on the secondary ticket market.

    So one of my best friends is in the ticket business. I asked him what deal is with that site selling seats that haven't even been offered through fanclub pre-sales. He basically said to stay away from sites like that because what they are doing is called spec (speculate) selling. They have you purchase tickets that they do not even actually have in hand at the time you purchase them. Once the purchase is completed, they need to go out and find those tickets, so you're not truly guaranteed the seats you buy.

    Bottom line- major upsell and you play at your own risk....

    Yes... Speculation selling.. some of these sites then have to scour Ebay to get tickets after you buy from them... My old housemate got burned by a site like this in the UK for U2... she never got her tix, and i'm not even 100% sure she got her money back... I posted about this LONG ago! Probably on the last incarnation of the boards...

    i was thinking the same thing but then i saw them on ebay as well, which makes me think somethings up...the ebay people would not speculate on every concert because it would give them negative feedback if the couldn't produce.

    personally i don't think 10c or anybody else for that matter can control these kinds of things. obviously its happening somehow and someway, and some fuck is profiting from this...oh well, the all mighty dollar...
