Totally understand and respect Grohl's wishes to keep a lot things to himself, I think anyone would be like that. The selfish part of me, though, hopes that some time in his life, probably many years from now when all is said and done, he feels like he can open up on his own terms. Maybe an autobiography. Same goe for Kris Novoselic. So much crap surrounds the whole Kurt Cobain story now, we seem to be in the era of "Nirvana were so overrated", which I hear a lot these days. It'd be nice to one day just be able to read about the man, as told by those closest to him through the biggest years of his life.

I was 10 but I was listening to Nirvana when Nevermind became a huge hit.

I love the way that Grohl handled the interview.

Never been a huge Foo Fighters or Nirvana fan, but I agree totally - he seems like a great guy. The Foo Fighters just played a show in Auckland, NZ, to raise money for the Christchurch Earthquake Relief Fund - they played their soon-to-be-released album in its entirety, then played a 20-song greatest hits set. I think they also did something similar in Brisbane for the Queensland flood relief fund.
And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.
