for digital music, i prefer my 120G ipod. gotta have my high quality 1000kb files. almost all that mp3 stuff is 256 ish. not good.
how does it work when flying? what, slow connection? will this decrease the life of my phone battery?
Thats what i was wondering, will there be black out zones, your jammin to your song, then you go through a tunnel and for the next ten minutes silence.
i'm guessing the download would stream some to your phone to avoid temp outtages. but you're right, a long tunnel could cause issues. bad network could causes issues. i'm just not sold.
the biggest draw back is still hooking it up to my truck stereo. i need the high bit rates for sound quality, and the ipod intergrates with the stereo
I won't make a bigger investment until i see what Google's cloud looks like.

Hopefully this breaks Apple's monopoly.
Speaking of Apple, I love their condescending iPhone commercial they have been running during the NCAA tournament.
"If you don't an iPhone, well, you don't have an iPhone" ... and you suck, are uncool, and your friends hate you and make fun of you, loser.
and if you have an iphone, please don't expect to fully access the internet.
damn right i don't have an iphone. i've got something better.

SMELL YER MA!
For me the reason this rocks is i can have the Amazon MP3 app on my phone and stream my entire library from my phone without using up any hard drive memory space from my phone.
That is what has me excited. My music library with me anywhere i am.
I know audiogalaxy does soemthing like this but you have to have your home computer on all the time and that won't work with my laptop.
