Not a fan of Cat Stevens I guess?
you couldn't swing if you were hangin' from a palm tree in a hurricane.
still one of my favorite albums second only to No Code.. as for the haters.. get over it.. it rocks.. I love this album!!and always will I also love Binaural.. it was a great record in it's own right.. I miss it horridly need to replace those two.. (Binaural and No Code). anyhow everyone have a great day!! and see some of ya at Bonnaroo!!
Can't Keep > Save You and All or None are fantastic to my ear. The rest of this album is rubbish.
LBC is without a doubt where PJ jumped the shark, much has gone downhill from this derivative crud. Boooooooooooooooooooom, the ridiculous stage lighting, the bald panning for acceptance (AOL sessions/interviews, just to start) ... God forbid Avocado ...
The last five years have not been kind to this band. They've completely changed their mode of operation ... from a "fuck it, take no prisoners, this is us" approach to a pandering "hey guys, how's this?" Everything you need to know is packaged, lamely, on the Immagine DVD.
Let's hope they rip this playbook up and burn the shit down on the East Coast; time to get right.

i wanted that avocado album to sell 10,000,000 copies....
i wanted that album to bring them back to the top and on the cover of TIME magazine once again....
and obviously so did the band...
letterman

well i think it is a good not great album. seems to translate way better live as i go back to listen to the studio & the songs seem to disappoint a little. much brighter live with more gump.
i kinda thought they lost it after VS....vitalogy good in parts, very good actually but other ummm not so good. no code is really good & really reminds me of riot act though. binaural is good, just find it kinda dirgy....
but riot act has become my fave next to ten & vs. all the songs are different but change is good, gotta grow. did everrybody want them to make 10 Ten albums?
just my 2 cents....
toronto '92 X 2, toronto '93, hamilton '05, toronto 1 '06, toronto '09, buffalo '10, london '13, buffalo '13
I've been listening to Riot Act every morning for the past 3 days and I'm hoping that in June they'll play lots of it!!!!!!

I was so glad hearing straight rock, mccready's guitar and all, after that strange intellectual experiment called binaural.
two songs into riot act I felt home, after thumbing my way I thought this has to be the best reccord.

Speedy, I don't know how else to say this, but you're dead wrong.
its just my opinion....
that album never ever ever did anything for me....
as fanch says...
"its a bunch of songs that i just dont like"
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
What would you rather see? One of the EV solo shows or Cincy pt 2? Tough decision I bet?
I'm just fuckin' around dude.
Plus, I can't believe you're relying on Fanch to back you up
i just dont know 90% of the songs/covers that EDDIE is playing...
and the NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK reunion tour will be better than CINCY......
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
yeah....
you were right my friend....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
I guess Donnie is not getting enough movie roles eh?
Riot Act is better than "Hanging Tough" though.
