Last night I spoke with a friend--we were trying to finalize our ticket buying plans--and he said he had just gotten off the phone with another friend who kept him on the phone for too long b/c he was bitching about Obama's speech. They both do not like Obama, but I cannot ignore the fact that those who will criticize last night's speech would be applauding it if it were made by someone with an "R" next to their name. I just don't trust the opinions of anyone anymore. All that matters to people is the letter next to someone's name. Think about how stupid and closed-minded that is. American society is simply not intelligent. We are in big trouble.

But, how can we be expected to make intelligent choices? Who to trust? Who to believe?
