I think we Euros won't have a chance to see it in a movie theatre
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0 -

All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

Well, I'll have to get my tv back working
Also for the Ed solo DVD ... But what a great thought - to be in a movie theatre with lots of other jammers and watch that movie! Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0 -

Hope it plays in Europe toPearl Jam 4 live
h8 2 w8 for concerts0 -
Here's hoping for it to pop up on one of our many fancy dox/artsy/hipster/we're all way too intellectual to see movies on anything but celluloid filmfestivals. Otherwise we'll just have to occupy a movietheatre somewhere mid EU (BERLIN!) and invite everyone ... as long as they serve beer

But would be cool to see (and hear) in a theatre.Have fun, walk hard and stay alive.0 -

Well, the fact that The promise: the making of Darkness on the edge of town made it to some theatres here in Italy last November let me think why not Pearl jam documentary, too?
Guess it'll depend on the kind of distribution they'll want to give to the whole thing.
Sometimes miracles happen: let's hope in a new one

Hopefully it turns out like the Foo Fighter's movie, which is playing in a decent amount of cities and then is being shown on VH1 just a few days after the theater release.* Cincinnati, OH 8.20.2000 *

i've never understood having these concert movies in theaters... U2, phish, bieber, etc... i can't imagine its ever a sell out crowd... unless you organize something on here and get everyone together, you're gonna have fans go see it little by little in practically empty theaters
i would rather just have it go right to DVD and enjoy it at home
the people that wanna do the theater thing can organize a screening party like they've done in the past0 -

Sadly, I was at the theater the night that the Beiber movie opened up... those screens were for sure all sold out, but of course you can't compare something like that to a PJ movie.
Again, I think if they do it like Foo Fighters are doing theirs then I think it will do well. Only one night and one showing, that's it.* Cincinnati, OH 8.20.2000 *

I saw "Lemmy" in the theatre in Greece a few months ago... It was shown only once in one theatre during the Athens film festival.
I'm hoping PJ20 will be the same....
Look out for the movie at the time the Berlin film festival is happening... Hopefully it will be on!
If it is shown in Athens, I'll post on the forums and if anyone's around I'll pick up tickets for them....0 -

We'll see what happens. Even though it is a Cameron Crowe film, I don't know if it'll be in theaters. His documentary, "The Union", about the making of Elton John and Leon Russell's album, was included with the album and is going to be shown at festivals also. I can see PJ20 being shown in cities like LA and New York.Shows: 6.27.08 Hartford, CT/5.15.10 Hartford, CT/6.18.2011 Hartford, CT (EV Solo)/10.19.13 Brooklyn/10.25.13 Hartford

Great thing about going to the theaters & watching concerts on the big screen is ... the "big screen" and "amazing sound" quality.
Last one I attended was the Big 4 concert. It was for one night only. Pay Per View event only @ the theatres. Couldn't get it @ home. It was fucking amazing.
With the PJ20 event, I hope it will get played @ every province/state here in North America & not just a few 20/30 independent theatres across the country.
I hope Crowe is doing well with the old video tape transfers so this beautiful will look & sound good & made available on Blu-ray.

i've seen the phish brooklyn simulcast (a live show airing live) and the 3D movie in theaters (limited run), and the place was off the hook both times, full house - people drinking, smoking, dancing. it was a lot of fun."If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph: The only proof he needed for the existence of God was music."
