I would never suggest that members of this forum stuff the ballot box. However, in my honest opinion, Ten has held up so much better over time than Nevermind.3/14/94; 4/22/03; 7/9/03; 10/5/04; 5/17/06; 8/2/07; 8/5/07; 8/23/09; 5/4/10; 5/9/10; 5/20/10; 5/21/10; 9/3/11; 9/4/11; 9/2/12; 9/21/12; 7/19/13; 11/15/13; 11/16/13; 12/4/13; 12/6/130

I cast my vote for Ten. Looks like ten is in the lead right now. I am a fan of Nirvana but I don't think Nevermind has the depth that Ten has.One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain ~Bob Marley0

The funny thing is that both Bleach and In Utero are better albums than Nevermind.0

I hate this comparison
2 completely different albums, different bands
I heard Nevermind first, was pretty much obsessed with Nirvana before I heard PJ. Had heard OF them, just not them.
That being said Ten is one of the best albums ever IMO
LOVE IT
listened to it for a good year or two non-stop
Love both bands
but I like Ten as an album more
so I'll vote for it

Of course I voted for Ten. I mean, I DO like Nevermind, but, like someone else said, they're really different so it's like apples and oranges. It's hard to beat Ten. And I agree with what the author said about Ed's voice--that's the kicker for me for one over the other. Kurt could sometimes be a little whiney-but, both good albums. 0 -

i think they are both great albums. both albums played a huge part in my life when i was a late teenager. nevermind was much darker and i had to be in a particular mood to enjoy it. ten was always so much more uplifting to me and fit me no matter what mood i was in.
my question is had kurt lived and continued to put out albums at the same clip as pearl jam, would nevermind even be comparable to ten anymore? i think that because kurt died he did not get that chance to put out that one big dud of an album that so many bands from that era did later in their careers. would the newer nirvana stuff tarnish the older stuff in the same way that say billy corgan's newer material did? not to hate on billy, but after hearing some of his more recent stuff it makes me not even want to hear his voice on any album, ya know?"You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln

i know it's speculation, but i don't think nirvana was going to last much longer after they recorded unplugged.. if kurt cobain hadn't killed himself.
how can one say that nirvana isn't a very good band? cobain was an amazing songwriter, dave grohl was a damn good drummer, and krist.. well he was just there.0 -
And TEN it is. Ten is leading by 30%

i meant they arent a great band. i should have been more specific. they just arent as good as everybody makes them out to be.
and i agree with you on their longevity issues with or without a band member death
