Ahhhhhhhh I'm nervous!!!!

Almost exactly 2 hours from now I finally start going to college. I graduated high school back in 1999 and I'm just now doing it. Problem is my body doesn't do very well with nerves, so I'm sitting here feeling all sick and what not with a pretty hardcore stomach ache. I know once I get in there and get situated that everything will be fine but for right now it kinda stinks.

My kids have been totally awesome about it all, and they've made me very excited about it. They've been counting down the days for the last couple weeks. They are so proud of me, so it's hard to not be happy for myself about it all.

So I'm going to just sit here for the next little bit and keep chain smoking until it's time to go haha.

    Thanks for the good vibes everybody, it's very much appreciated.

    The time has come. Headed out to drop my youngest off at the baby sitter, and then I'm headed to go learn some World History and Introduction to Psychology!

    reminds me of the time uncle jesse went back to finish HS... you think he wasn't nervous?? he was... ran outta class and everything... BUT he went back and finished it and was glad he did

    (also, college is surprisingly easy... they just want your money... don't sweat it!)

    I too graduated high school in '99... And after several changes of venue and random work expeditions, I finally finished last year. It's never too late, and for me, once I set my mind to it and gave up everything that was holding me back (or should I just say I stopped procrastinating), it was a breeze.
