Simply put they fucking blew it out of the water. Everyone was on and rocking and enjoying themselves. They all stole the show, Mikey in particular of course, he was all over that stage. Dug is an incredible frontman. (My brother-in-law has a man crush on him after his performance- he hasn't stopped talking about it  ) I was at the rail, right under Jeff! He was rocking so hard and had a huge smile on his face most of the show. He kept going back and jamming with Richard- I agree with whoever called him a beast.umm. yes. wow. fuck.

My highlights were Life, Afrosheena, God Told Me and of course the incredible encore! Can I get a what what for ZZ muthafucking Top!!!

It was a great fucking show and I got a Mike pic! I missed the band downstairs. I walked out of the bathroom and they were ushering people out and wouldn't let anyone back in. Fuckers. But I'm not complaining- it was a great night and a great day!

My other highlights were meeting and hanging with Neily and his SO. Both are amazing people and I had so much fun with them. Got to say hi and hug Black Diamond and meet his boys, who are every bit as awesome as he makes them sound. Makes me so excited for PJ20 and meeting many more fantastic people!

    you're awesome also!!!!!!
i post on the board of a band that doesn't exsist anymore .......i need my head examined.......

Ryezup, you must have been standingon the rail by my son (14 yr old teen guy that Mike handed the stickers to pass around). Chris got to meet & speak to Mike at the TM event earlier. He also has Crohn's and Mike eased his fears and took away all the horrible memories Chris has had as a teen living with the disease. Before he left Mike took the time to sign his shirt, reassure him again, and handed him his guitar strap. Chris is still on cloud nine and it was a healing moment in his young life from a man who literally got him out of a deep depression when he was first diagnosed. Chris had been to PJ shows and has played guitar since he was 6, so seeing Mike's energy & love of music gave him the motivation to get up & out again. There was not a dry eye when Mike put his arm around Chris, looked him in the eyes & told him "you are going to be ok", then handed him the strap. What a healing moment in a young man's life faced with a disease, teenage drama, is often the center of jokes about his condition by kids his age, to meet the person who motivated you at your lowest point & feeling they really cared!!! The show was incredible and we had a wonderful time rockin out to the band. Loved the small venue and how relaxed the audience & guys were. Totally blown away from the entire weekend.

    Hey Tuolumne Mama,

I was standing on the rail next to Chris (who by the way was great to talk to), my husband who let him in front was behind him--we all had such a blast! And was there when Mike signed his shirt (I took a photo with him right after)!! I'm sure Chris is still reeling from the show (I know I am). Please tell Chris that Marci says hi (hoping he even remembers me-if not, just remind him that it was the girl in the Ramones shirt)!

Yep, I was just a few over from him. I noticed him at the event earlier holding that strap like he would never put it down. I kept noticing him and thinking how cool it was that Mike gave him the strap. I had no idea thats what it was, but from the look on Chris's face and the way he was holding it, I just knew it was Mike's strap. What a gift for both of them. Chris to be able to receive not only the strap but the words and motivation, and Mike to be able to give that reassurance and inspiration. Wow. ...I can only imagine how this must have felt as a parent too. To see your child who has suffered have such an incredible moment with a hero. Just awesome.

Unbelievable night!!!! Front row, DIRECTLY in front of Mike, got handed a guitar pick- SPEECHLESS!!! Met him after the show too, got a picture and an autograph- but I'll get to that later! Still on a high from all that!

If you thought Tres Mts. album was great- which I do- their live show (as many have mentioned) blows it out of the water! I had an amazing time, definitely loved it even more than I expected to! It was worth waiting in line for about an hour and a half to get front row on the rail, right in front of Mike!! With my 10c number, unless by some miracle I someday get the fortune of winning the lottery, I will probably never ever be that close to Mike & Jeff- especially Mike- again! So it was pretty exciting to have that front row view. Never been front row at a concert before so for this to be my first experience with that was super exciting!

As for Gull, the opening act, he was definitely different to say the least! Didn't think he was awful, but didn't think he was great either.

Then Tres Mts came on and electrified the stage! All seemed to be in good spirits and all 4 members for sure did their thing! As the show went on and the band got into their groove more and more, Dug's vocals really shined. He's a solid frontman! Never heard of him prior to Tres Mts, glad I know of him now! Same goes with Richard, never heard of him prior but he was just awesome last night! Beat those drums to death, definitely very impressive! And of course, our Jeff was solid as well, as always! But as many have said before in reviews, Mikey stole the show!! Basically melted all of our faces off- but that is expected! :) So many highlights for me, there really was not a song I didn't thoroughly enjoy! Some great crowd sing a longs as well- Life, Afrosheena, God Told Me that were sick!

Ok, BEST PART :D : During My Baby, Mikey & I made intense eye contact for a little while, I was having fun and singing along, he was on a platform standing SO close to me! For a second he kind of 'taunted' me in a way- kept acting like he was gonna throw the pick, then back to playing, then had his hand out with the pick, then continued playing- until I put my hand out and he placed the pick in my hand, and pointed! BEYOND COOL, I can't even believe it happened! Also got PJ20 & Tres Mts stickers, they were thrown out in the crowd. After the show we waited about 45 minutes or so. Jeff walked right by us all first, which was a little disappointing as it would have been great to meet him, but can't blame him for just wanting to go home after a night of rocking! Mike and Dug came out next, both were so gracious and took pictures and signed autographs. When Mike saw me he said, "I saw you!" and that just about made my life  I can't even remember what I replied to that. He asked me my name, and I'm glad I remembered it, as now I have a McCready autograph! He then graciously took a picture- too cool even though I look awful in it! Dug was also really nice, thanked me for coming out after I thanked him for the awesome show, and shook my hand.

Thanks to Tres Mts, thanks to all the really nice people I met and talked to, and thanks to my friend who was a trooper throughout the whole thing (and ended up loving the show- couldn't ask for more!) for making the show so memorable!!
... are we going to the same place?
