    The whole point of this is famous people who die in threes. Doesn't matter if they were well loved or iconic or assholes. They are publicly recognizable names.

    My mom was a nurse in a hospital for many years. It's not just celebrities, it would happen in the hospitals too.

    I've always heard this saying for both celebrities and ordinary people but it never seems to work that way to me. There will be 2 deaths and then when another one happens, everybody says "Oh there's the third one" and stops paying attention.
