Liriano was the best pitcher in the American League in 2010 and there is no reason to believe he won't be again in 2011.

This video proves the point:

That won't happen. Every report in Minnesota suggests that the team isn't interested in trading him for less the "multiple franchise type players and/or prospects". Unless the Yanks want to get rid of all their young talent, a trade isn't gonna happen.

No, he just sucks. Something like a 9 era and about to get replaced in the rotation possibly

Million dollar question. For us I wish he was good and the twins suck but he's not a real attractive target right now.

He would have been a good one, twins don't want to extend him and his contract is almost up. Plus he was a top 5 or so pitcher in the al last year. Ah well, yanks will figure it out.

I didn't know there were enough Francisco Liriano haters to warrant its own thread.

Even though he has pitched shitty so far this season, I'll be happy when he's out of the AL central.

It wasn't a hater that started this thread. I would love for him to be good and get traded to the yanks

    congrats to Liriano

I know it's still early on in the season, but it's a little odd to see that a no-hitter lowered his ERA to 6.61
