my uncle has battled emphysema for 5 years I think.
he now is hospitalized with a collapsed lung.
he's a great man and grandfather.
please send him and his family your good vibes and or prayers.
his name is Berk and I think he might be 62. he is my aunt's second husband.
he was like a nurse to his father in law before he died of asbestos related lung cancer.
he went beyond a son in law's duty!

    thanks. my poor aunt has already lost both of her parents, in 1987 then 2002. none of her siblings live near her.
    her husband keeps getting sick from the emphysema and he can't breathe; then Medicare doesn't want to pay for his oxygen. when I spoke with her last month, his lungs were like only 20 percent? I can't imagine that.
    Damn cigarettes....while I'm on my rant, my neighbor continued to smoke after he survived throat cancer and he had cancer again....still smoked up til the day before he had his voice box removed about 10 days ago :(
