Artists/Bands You Really Love!!!

I'm sick of the "Bands You Can't Stand" thread. Let's be a little more positive here. Give me some musical artists or bands you really love, especially those many of us may not be familiar with or may be surprised at.
You can probably leave Pearl Jam off - that's kind of obvious.
My classics: Led Zeppelin, The FUCKING BEATLES :!: , John Coltrane, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, The Who
More modern: Radiohead, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Death Cab for Cutie, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Black Keys, The Cranberries, The Decemberists, Muse, Queensryche, The Wallflowers
