Ticket buying groups/buddies

Have there ever been a group of members who have bought ticketmaster tickets for shows and sold them to members for face value. For example, I won't attend an EV show on the east coast, but I could be one of the people trying to buy tickets for members who do want to attend. That way, we bypass stubhub/ebay/scalpers. Just wondering if this was ever attempted.

no....just let things be. By buying tickets you also push fans further back and also could take tickets outta the hands of fans.

That is just preventing us from just getting them ourselves in a way. Say you do get them and I don't, I may not get them from you either but you ruined my initial chance myself with no guarantee I get yours.

I'm sure it happens but I would say it's amongst the various groups of friends on the board.

No, not with folks you don't know.
But I might have several of my buddies try with me since grabbing tix to popular shows sometimes comes down to who is lucky enough to bust through in the first minutes of a TM onsale.

There are almost always extra tickets floating around here the weeks leading up to the show, and then outside the box office the night of the show. Sometimes below face.

All this would do is contribute to clogging up the ticket site the day of the onsale.
  • Makes sense. Was just curious.

And don't forget that it is supposed to be the 10C Member who actually ordered the tickets that picks up the ordered tickets. That makes it difficult if you out of the area with no intent to go to the venue yourself
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
slide in sideways, BBQ sandwich in one hand, cold beer in the other,
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "Woo Hoo what a
    ride"!
