has 35,000,000 hits on youtube. it's the WORST song i've heard in my life. it has almost 2x as many hits as Pearl Jam's 'Black.'

How is that possible??

    Isn't it also quite ironic that you've answered your own question by doing what everyone else has done by sharing the link to the video? And on a huge forum as this is that only to support the growing number of views to that video?

    But also, this artist has gained huge popularity for releasing what is now pretty much known as the worst song is history. That's why I watched it. It's like a train wreck.

    Is this the worst song ever, not by a long shot...

    There are about 15 songs by Justin Bieber and Creed that are way worse than this. This is aimed at the nickelodeon and Disney channel crowd like Hillard Duff and Hannah Montana and all that over stuff.. Maybe the parents had money and got her a deal or something, but it is not as bad as everyone is saying. It is just crappy pop music...

    Actually David Soul has a worse song, as does Patrick Swayze.

    She's 13, yet her friends drive. Such a terrible song and she should never have let her mom put that god awful excuse for music up anywhere. But hey, now she's famous, albeit for the wrong reasons, and guaranteed this isnt the last we see of her.

    rolling stone actually made a pretty good point, while the song is a disaster, her vocals are unique. so much so, making them bizaare. ive never heard anyone sing the word "Friday" the way she does. To me, thats the thing that stands out from the song. all of it is sort of generic pop music, but where it's unique is her voice

    again, thats not to say i like the music...

    There are so many things wrong with this song & video. I first saw this on www.epicfail.com and had no idea it was a legit song that was released, up until a couple weeks ago I was under the impression it was a joke (whoops). Anyways, apparently the girl has been receiving death threats and "fan" mail encouraging her to slit her wrists and kill herself. So yes, the song sucks...but that's mean.

    If I understand this correctly, her parents had this done as a sort of "gift" to her through some production company that does similar videos with a bunch of other young girls.

    This one just happened to take off.

    One of the radio stations that i listen to has started running a contest on Fridays that makes someone sit in the car while they drive around town with that song playing on repeat. If he can last from 6:00am - Noon, he gets $300 or $50 for every hr you do survive. Even if you get out of the car to go to the washroom, they give you an ipod with it on that your suppose to listen to. The guy got the $300 today
