Annie - were you the short girl with curly hair???
It sounds like most of us were in the same spot. I had my shorter female friend in front of me, I had on a black shirt, glasses, blonde guy with a beard.
Yep! That was me I think you guys were standing right next to me on my left side...so nice of you to let your shorter friend stand in front of you
Correct! What a small world! Very cool that you drove down for it. Of course I let her stand in front, I'm a nice "tall" guy
The drive isn't too bad..it takes me about the same amount of time to go to either DC or Philly, but I lived in northern baltimore for several years, so I'm more familiar with the DC area..so I usually go there for shows. I don't mind traveling...for good music
I really want to go to PJ20...and that will definitely mean some serious travel time
Good to meet you and maybe I'll bump into you again!
I drove from Minnesota with my friend (kidofklay) to see Tres Mtns. It was worth every minute and every penny. They are a BLAST to see live! As usual, Mike and Jeff were amazing. I was on Jeff's side, one person back from the stage, and he seemed to be really into the music and who he was performing with. What an amazing experience to be SO close to the stage!
I wasn't familiar with Richard Stuverud before the show but he was a beast behind the drum kit. What fun to watch him play! I will definitely be seeking out more from him.
A special thanks to Jackie, Randall, and Joe - who we met at the show. It was great to meet some fellow PJ "enthusiasts" - plus you were fun to hang around with. Jackie - thanks for the photos of your wristband! Hope to see you again at another show!
Bottom line - SEE TRES MTNS if you can. It's a GREAT show!
I've scanned the DC setlist (presumably most other shows as well) for anyone that wants it. It is available here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0SSI8HKU

Thanks Travelar! I might print this off and add it to my stickers that Mike gave me and my dUg pick
But next time you grab the set list you should really give it to the short girl standing behind you

Can't wait to see the show tonight in NY.
Questions - was there an opening act - what time was on the tickets in DC and when did tres mts go on/
Yes. There was an opening act. Gull. He was pretty weird, but watchable. Doors opened at 8. Tres Mts, came on just after 10.
