That's wild. I've never paid attention to that before. Very interesting to see us faithful making waves in the digital pond.

although now you need to be trending on twitter. I don't think they have yet. Not even when they were on SNL.

Heidi Montag is above him. What is wrong with the world?

  • Maybe due to this:

    http://www.cnn.com/2015/01/04/politics/obama-pearl-jam-hawaii/index.html

President Barack Obama, perhaps recognizing that eternal truth of holiday-making, packed his last full day on Oahu with visits to family and friends, including Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, who was spending his holidays in the same oceanfront neighborhood as the first family.

Vedder once performed at a fundraiser for Obama in Tampa, playing on the most Hawaiian of instruments, a ukelele. The gesture seemed to have left an impression on the commander-in-chief; the White House now describes the two as "friends."

Actually, in '94 he was in the Oval Office with Bill. I think they were talking about gun control. There is a cool picture but I don't have it.

He's allowed to hang with the President. Not even sure why it's news. Eddie and Obama hang out with other famous people all the time. They are in the same club - the famous people who vacation in Hawaii club. All those people seem to hang out with each other over there.

Fuck, if Obama came and knocked on my door asking to hang out I'd be pretty into it. Same with Bush, and any other world leader in the whole world. And of course, if I were a world leader, I would totally use my power to hang out with Eddie Vedder. \m/

It always struck me that while George W. might not have been a great president, he'd probably be a pretty good guy to go out and have beer with.
