hey jammers. my son, an AVID pj fan, that never gets a chance to spend much time on the internet, or here on 10C even tho he's a member, because his work keeps him so busy, asked me to ask you guys, if you're traveling around the country or around the world, following pj...to PLEASE think of him if you're shopping in a foreign venue. he's a chef and he's looking for special hot sauces from all around the country/world for his collection. His name is Ross and he's a busy busy busy chef. You may have met him at a show w me over the years..if not, you may get a chance at Tres Mts or east coast shows this year. ANYWAY if you happen to come across something awesome, and even better if its somehow PJ related, please let me know!

He asked me to make sure you know he'll of course pay for it.
But I think I'm going to collect whatever you guys can manage to find and save it up for him as a gift.
He'd be ecstatic. He really digs his hot sauce. Wing or otherwise. Anything unusual and hot he's really gonna want it.

I know it seems like an odd request. But there it is. :D

Thanks guys
PEACE,
jo
peace,
jo

Hey Jo, heading to Costa Rica in a few weeks. If you'd like, I'll keep an eye out
for any interesting hot sauces. Although chances are they wont be PJ related, we can always slap
a sticker on the back! ;)

    Thank you so much Christy!
No..they don't have to be PJ related..he's really into the hot sauces...anything different, or from a foreign place.
PJ related just makes it that much cooler, ya know?
    Like..if its called BLACK
or maybe it has a Red Mosquito on the label.
But it really doesn't have to. Just as long as its hot and from a new place.
Thank you so much for offering.
I hope he collects a whole lot!
He will be thrilled..he really will. :)

Sorry, I don't have any stores nearby that have any hot sauces other than Franks, tabasco, etc.

However, here's a good list of sauces available online. Some of the names are hilarious:

    And some listed by country:

I have seen a Ron Jeremy hot sauce online...At least half of the title is PJ-related ;)

It's a spicy red sauce that the Portuguese use to spice up a lot of dishes. Piri Piri chicken is really good. If he's a chef he probably knows it but i'll try and get a bottle cause there's nothing like the authentic versions.
