finally going to see Primus live!

this is going be exciting. Les Claypool has toured solo yes, but I've always wanted to see him with Primus. This is going to be awesome. 8-)

    I saw Les "solo" once. He edged out Bob Dylan for most self indulgent ear raping performance I've ever seen. B/c of that I can't bring myself to spend the cash on tix for the Primus show at a really kickass venue.

    Saw Primus back in the day. They blew the roof off the place. I've also seen Les 2x solo, but you're right, the Primus show is worlds better.

    Saw them with Gogol Bordello last summer in Brooklyn- definitely a crazy show, have fun!

    I saw them at Lollapalooza 93 and then again in 2004 (I think) when they did the entire "Sailing the Seas of Cheese" album which was awesome for me since that's my favorite album of theirs. They can be rather self-indulgent and jam for WAY too long on some songs, but overall they are amazing live.
