Framing???

Does it really matter what kind of mat/paper you put on or behind/around your poster prints? Reason: At Hobby Lobby they mentioned that the cheap stuff can ruin your poster over time? Are they doing the "Old sales upgrade" on me?

    No possibly not,my friend is a master framer,he explained the difference in framing styles and how they preserve print's photographs etc.
    His advice to me was simple that if you want to keep it for life,preserve and frame it for life.I have taken his advice and have had various images framed in a conservation style.They do look better than the cheaper framing's I have had done but they were expensive.

    Go to the Louvre and see if The Mona Lisa is framed in something that could've been bought at Target.
