The Strokes new album

Anyone get to check this out yet? I bought it this morning at a local independent music store. I really dig it a lot, really similar to is this it but with a twist. Great to hear new work from The Strokes

  • I think its pretty awesome they were still able to maintain their sound and experiment a little bit I dunno what it is but they just put out an awesome vibe, julian is great front man I liked hammond jrs solo stuff too glad their back

  • Can't stop listening to this album, one of my favorites of the year so far. I read on NME or Spin's website that they had plenty left over from the sessions and are going to work on another one fairly quickly, hopefully by end of the year. If it's anything like this, should be great!! For the most part Rolling Stone's more recent reviews are garbage, but I think Fricke's review of this is actually pretty spot on:
