I've been listening to a number of the 2000 bootlegs that I've recently got and noticed on 'Lukin', Ed doesn't actually sing the 1st part - "Drive down the street, can't find the keys to my own fucking home
I take a walk, so I can curse my ass for being dumb" - he actually just mumbles it. Its completely indecipherable. The rest of the song he sings pretty alright.

Now when I listen to more recent boots (2006-2010) Ed sings it alot better and you can clearly hear the words, not just mess as on the 2000 boots.

What I'm getting at is, with the recent debates of PJ playing songs too fast and ruining some songs and some even questioning Ed's singing; Lukin actually sounds better live now than what it did 10 years ago. And Ed's singing on this song is better now too.
2000: Manchester
2006: Dublin; Leeds; Arnhem
2007: London
2009: Manchester
2012: Manchester I & II : EV Manchester : Soundgarden Shepherds Bush
2013: Brad Manchester : Soundgarden Manchester
2014: Amsterdam I & II; Berlin; Leeds; Milton Keynes
2018: Berlin; London II; Boston II

Lukin is my code word for weed. "Hey man.. Do you have any lukin?
"I want to go...but I don't want to go alone...With you I could never feel alone..."
