pretty pumped, I see a lot of Phish but it's been a long time since I've rem to a festival.

I've had a house rental booked since December, was starting to get worried!

I like Phish, but I wish it was Pearl Jam.

Tickets on sale at 12noon EST! bump!
  • i will be there. Pj should take note that this is what a real festival is like. Not just two days at some shed with the worst lawn in the country.

    got my tickets, all in.

got a lake house 5 miles away, hoping to bike in and out every night. having been to Maine, Tennessee, and Michigan for past festivals (not just Phish) I'm thrilled to be close to home and have the ability not to wake with the sun each morning, hit the big 30 this year so it's time to do these things in style, although I'll probably rock the campgrounds a night at least.

re: PJ20, I'm fine with Alpine. They don't have the experience in doing these things like Phish and phish's mgmt who have a stake in Bonnaroo, plus I never really had faith the it would be a true festival, just an overhyped weekend of shows. they just aren't that kind of band. nevertheless, I'll be at SB9 and PJ20, great summer ahead.

Got mine, too! Can't freakin' wait.. wish we could just kinda skip April and get to the sunshine. One of the main things I love about the Phish fests is that it is JUST them, no outside bands. Who knows how PJ20 will go down, but I just think this is the way to go. It's not like there isn't plenty of other shit to do to keep everybody occupied. I'm young. I wanna camp. I wanna dance. I wanna stay up all night. I wanna go big.

Im all in... and can't fuckin wait. My first phish festy so I'm pumped. Have a couple of shows first down here in the South to get me started :D

It's gonna be one hell of a summer... Think PJ20 will be sick in it's own way. Just hoping it's a 3 day fest rather than a 2 day.

i didn't mean to sound like i was bitching. ill most likely be at PJ20. Im just not a huge fan of Alpine. If you aren't in the pavillion it's almost not worth going. Since it's pretty much going to be a glorifies 2 night stand i hope they at least get cool support. I can't wait to get my Superball 9 ticket this week! See you phanners there!

Edit: if I am not away that week, as I plan to be, then I will see you there!! It's only 70 miles from my town, just like Bethel.

i was gonna be content with the fest being my last phish shows of the year having already been to the gorge for phish and PJ, but i think i might try to do the gorge / hollywood / tahoe run, just because tahoe seems like it would be a blast. tix will probably be tough though.

I thought I'd be content with the festival too, but now with these West Coast shows, i.e., the GORGE, I can hear it calling my name.. I'm going to have to plant a few more money trees if I'm actually going to make it happen.

I "work" from home a good bit of the time, especially so I can travel freely. No money tree though :(

I'm moving out west (OR) later this year, and hopefully next month we have a house out there though, so that will make this a bit easier

I'm planning on going away that week, but this looks too good to pass up, even if I am also going to Bethel.

By the way, on the FAQ, this is hilarious:
Question: "Can my friends and I bring instruments and amplifiers and jam out in the campground?"
Answer: "Only acoustic instruments will be allowed in camping (no instruments in the concert area). If we allowed everyone who asks to bring amplifiers it would be a free-for-all out there, and not fair to fellow campers who might not want to hear your cover of Sister Hazel's 'All For You.''" So true, so true.
