Former ABA BMX Grandnationals winner faces his biggest test @ UFC 128 this Saturday night!!!
by ABA Staff

Eddie Wineland knows a lot about competing on a big stage. Now a professional mixed martial artist sporting a record of 18 wins (with 9 by knockout and 5 by submission) and only 6 losses, Eddie is getting ready to face his biggest challenge ever against “The California Kid” Urijah Faber at UFC 128 this Saturday night.

Hailing from Indiana, Eddie was a local BMXer at Imagination Glen BMX and Steel Wheels BMX. And while the bright lights of UFC 128 will undoubtedly be the highlight of his sports career, Eddie tasted victory under the bright lights of “The Greatest Race on Earth”, the ABA Grandnationals in 2001. If you were lucky enough to catch the “Countdown to UFC 128” show on Spike TV, you saw the familiar Expo Square Arena and Eddie standing next to his 7 foot tall Grands trophy.

If you plan on catching UFC 128 this Saturday night, be sure to cheer for our fellow BMXer as he embarks on his toughest test to date. Go Eddie!
