Dave's joke cover he did awhile back of Arms Wide Open was pretty funny too. In this Dave and Taylor joke about Creed's old music videos.

The most disturbing thing about this whole Creed thing might be the picture you posted of them. I've never understood how people can be expected to take artists (and I use that term loosely) seriously when they pose for crap like that.
I get it. Elvis and Robert Plant did the same thing as far as trying to use sexuality to sell their music, but there's a critical difference here: Elvis and Robert Plant were Elvis and Robert Plant.
Creed are Creed.
A pox upon you for making me look at that picture!"A lot more people are capable of being big out there that just don't give themselves a chance." -Stone Gossard0 -
I love Creed's Higher video. I always love over the top videos that are ridiculous like that. One of my favorites was the Guns and Roses video that has Axel swimming with dolphins.
But one thing that kind of annoy's me about Dave Grohl is his tendency to put down other bands. The great ones never feel the need to go there. I guess he is kind of insecure. I remember him saying how much Bush sounded like Nirvana like they were a rip off. I don't really care for Bush, but I find that tacky. When FASCISM Comes To America
it will be wrapped in the FLAG and

Not disagreeing with you but the lead singer of the very band who's site you are on has been known to do the same thing in the past.0 -

It was either that or the one of Stapp kissing the ground with water falling on him0 -

I LOVE IT!!!! As long as he is honest with what he thinks, or feels, i have no problem with it at all. So, Dave doesn't like Creed or Bush, who cares??? It's his opinion, let him share it if he wants. It's his right, just as it is our right to share what we like or dislike.0 -

Yeah I agree. I actually am a fan of Bush, I know they're ripoffs but they ripped off the sound right, to me at least. I have no problem with Dave poking fun at them though.0 -
I find it odd that Pearl Jam fans have to constantly defend themselves against Creed. A friend of mine is a new fan of Pearl Jam and he never heard of Creed until he visited this forum.0

i don't have a problem with grohl putting down other bands. he is not as bad at it as noel gallagher used to be. one thing for sure is that grohl and gallagher both are always good for a soundbyte though lol..."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln

I think it's more of a long running joke. Not sure anyone here feels threatened by Creed.
Kind of along the lines of it being 'All stone's fault'.0 -
