That was pretty bad, the keyboards are to prominent and I like Billy when he is screaming... Is that Jimmy on drums?

It's the same old thing. If ever there was a band that needed to overhaul their sound, it's the Smashing Pumpkins! ...and Radiohead too, I'm not diggin' the new "King of Limbs" cd at all. I think both their sounds are getting really stale! Just my opinion! Thanks.

Getting stale? Hell, i thought both of them were quite moldy years ago
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

Billy needs to get angrryy at something, I like it when he's screaming! That song could put me to sleep.

  • what are you people smoking? While I really dont like the pumpkins post Adore, to suggest radiohead's music is stale is absurd. TKOL isnt a retread of In Rainbows. And if there is any band that has refused to make stagnant music that is radiohead. And while the new album seems to be getting less love than a usual Radiohead album usually goes, i wouldnt say their sound is stale. They havent ever made a dubstep album before which is what TKOL is.

There are many bands that remake the same album over and over again and dont change it up. And we can sit here all day and name those bands. But if you think Radiohead is on that list you are high as a kite.

I don't think I've ever heard of a Radiohead song or if I want to but it must be good many people seem to like them.

  • I don't dig everything that billy puts out, but I don't mind this one. What I don't get is how to access the site. I go there and all it is is a homepage with a picture of the two box sets on there, and a section for the downloads.

This is the problem with the way he's releasing this album..or project. Every song gets over-critiqued.

I think he'd prefer that over being completely ignored.

I find every SP song from 2008 (American Gothic EP & Teargarden...) onwards totally fresh and I feel BC has found a new kinda positive vibe to his music. His singining is better and the songs are just so melodic and fine.

I never cared too much for the heavy SP sound. This new direction is good!

    So yes. Waiting for more!

I'm the opposite. I still like the current stuff, but Superchrist is the best song he ever wrote. It's EPIC.

Billy's skills as a songwriter are pretty much finished. Haven't heard a good Smashing Pumpkins song in a while. Most of Machina was trash, Zeitgeist was completely trash, and I have yet to hear one good song from this Teargarden experiment. Which, by the way, has to be one of the most clumsily executed experiments ever. The songs are too few and too far between. Way to make your fans completely lose any excitement for your music!

He seems much more interested in his image.

odd. Machina and Zeitgeist are my two faves from the Billy. Probably because they are the heaviest.

I bought them off iTunes a long time ago. I don't remember Superchrist or G.L.O.W. ever being free.
