The 2000's are much harder. The 90's had bands that debuted early in the decade and had 1-2 albums that defined their careers. The 2000's are trickier than that. That would be an interesting list to come up with.

    Hmm.

Best album of the 90's, in my opinon, is U2's "Achtung Baby." I think it is damn close to perfect.

    PJ -- No Code
The Church -- Priest = Aura
    Lloyd Cole -- Love Story
    Green Day -- Dookie
    Paul Weller -- Stanley Road
    Nirvana -- In Utero
    Hole -- Live Through This
Rage Against the Machine -- The Battle of Los Angeles
    REM -- Out of Time

I agree that it is the best album of '90s, IMO. That album is 99.5% close to perfection. I'm just not big on "Trying to Throw Your Arms Around the World."

Not going to order them, I don't believe in doing that for music.

    Radiohead - OK Computer
    In Flames - Whoracle
    Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
    Weezer - Blue Album
    Soundgarden - Superunknown
    Nirvana - Nevermind
Stone Temple Pilots - Tiny Music...Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop
Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile
    Muse - Showbiz
Foo Fighters - The Color & The Shape (Though I'm torn between it and There Is Nothing Left to Lose...)

I'm kind of disappointed how much this reads like a greatest hits of the '90s list...I need to change that.
    Thanks EPOTTSIII!

The 90's will always hold a place in my heart as the age of enlightenment for me music wise. So many great albums that narrowing it down to 10 has been almost impossible. But here's my best stab at it.

Counting Crows- August and Everything After
    Lemonheads – It’s a Shame About Ray
    Live – Selling the Drama
    Moby – Play
    Morrissey – Vauxhall and I
    Nirvana – In Utero
    Pearl Jam – No Code
    Smashing Pumpkins – Siamese Dream
    Radiohead – OK Computer
    U2 – Achtung Baby

But to agree with Newch91 and Curmudgeoness, Achtung Baby was my favorite album of the 90's. To me, it was 100% perfection. The best... period.
