Misunderstanding

So I'm at a weeklong seminar at a local college this week.

This morning I drank a large Dunkin' Donuts coffee, a glass of orange juice, and a bottle of water. At break, understandably, I need to pee. So I go into the ladies room and empty my bladder with impressive velocity.

I step out of the stall as the woman next to me steps out of the adjacent stall. She turns to me and says, "Drinking from the fire hose?"

I go, :| "Excuse me?" I can't believe she's commenting about how I peed. I'm about to go off on her.

She says, "Drinking from the fire hose -- so much great information coming at us."

I realize she's in my seminar group, and she is not commenting on my bladder evacuation velocity.

    That is hilarious! I've never gotten comments on the velocity of my stream, but I often get comments on the length. I can pee for well over a minute, no problem. Drinking from the firehose- I'm gonna use that one. :lol:

    Since you are in a seminar together its good you didn't go off on her, but selfishly, I kinda wish you did. I like stories where Unlost gets aggressive. NO YOU DIDN'T... 8-)

    I have never heard that analogy used before...I so don't miss the corporate world...

    I am in training for PJ20. I am slowly expanding my bladder capacity and I'm confident that by June I'll be able to hang on to 6 beers for 4 hours.

    I don't want to be one of those chicks who heads to the bathroom during "Evenflow." (And yes, that pun was fully intended.)
