Scary as shit, and the ramifications of this make me extremely nervous. Sure would be nice if the world could synch with harmonies, and countries could pool resources to provide the aid needed.

Remember kids, when the promoters said "With the new precautions, Nuclear is now 100% safe".
-"it's times like these you have to ask yourself, "what would mike mccready do"

Let's hope it doesn't come to that, those poor people.

I have the utmost respect for those workers who have stayed behind to try and avoid that very thing.

These reactors were state of the art as I've read, you know damn well alot of greedy energy companies here have cut corners in safety for profits sake. They interviewed a guy from one of the California plants( near SD) about their reactors safety nets compared to the Japanese one

The spokesman clearly couldn't even say it was "as good" as Japans. He was all squirmy and uncomfortable as shit talking about it

    When will we learn

I know it pretty much is, but you have to respect that. They are willing to sacrifice themselves to save their nation.

How many people do you know that would do that?

Yeah last night at about 8pm atop nuclear specialist said it isn't just getting water on them it's how the water gets there and there really isn't a way to do it. At 8PM EST he said they had approximately 24 hours before it was a lost and catastrophic cause. So basically they have 4.5 to 6 hours probably according to the guy last night.

I am watching our evening news, most of it reporting about Japan. This situation is horrific, and getting worse by the hour, those poor people in the area and far far beyond,it is just so awful I hardly know what to say.
But for any boarders in Japan, the surrounding area or with friends and family in Japan my heart goes out to you all.
I just don't know what the fuck is going on with the world.
