Yep I was there too! I was a barrier jumper!! Great experience, although I remember very little of the actual performance.

I was down in the pit but seeing all the barrier jumpers flood the floor was crazy....what a day!

    Me too!!!

Although my cherry was only partially popped! I was only 14 and my parents wouldn't let me go alone. But as it turned out, the CNE was showcasing the World Series Trophy at the same time so I convinced them that I was desperate to see it and then once I got them there, I convinced them to sit outside the Stadium and listen. We did. They didn't actually mind it as much as they thought they would have.....

My cherry wasn't fully popped until a few years later at the Gardens......

HA! At least u got to go - my parents wouldn't take me, and they said I was too young to go to the city by myself! I started listening to them in 91 - I was 14....and my first show wasn't until 1995. I tried hard to get tix to the Chicago theater (i think it was) in 1993 - but I was naive...i got in line at TM (Soundwarehouse at the time), and was in line to buy tix...got up there....and found out they didn't take Credit cards (my dad gave me his to use)....I was SO crushed! Two years later, I was able to get tix thru 10club for Milwaukee and had like 7th row...What a treat that was for my first show. :) I never got tix for the Chicago Soldier field show thru 10c. But that was my second show - I did get to go that day.My luck...I got tix at 5pm the day of the show in a music store just by luck (depressed that I didn't have tix, I went shopping for music, lol)...and happened to get lucky by some guy who walked in and held up his hands, said "got two pj tix for tonight, who wants em?" I ran to the front of the store and said ME ME! And about an hour later, hopped the train w/ my friend to soldier field...ended up on the field in the first section - best summer EVER! :)

FINALLY get a chance to share that story. :P Ahhh

I was just looking to update my signature panel by adding all the shows I have been to and did a search for this show to remember the date! Man it was awesome. I too was a jumper. Jumped at full throttle from above the 1st base dugout. Landed hard too!

What a pit that was! Oh too be young again!

It was my first PJ show too!! Got me hooked pretty good!!

Wasn't in the pit but I was up in the cheap seats sitting right behind Jim Cuddy from Blue Rodeo...
