**WINNER** FREE Giveaway contest--Vs. era memorabilia
Winner of the contest is: 2-feign-reluctance. CONGRATS! PM me and we'll figure out shipping details.
Thanks to all who posted. I know you listen to PJ, but thanks for sharing some other of the more recent spins to the soundtracks of your respective lives. There's a lot of good music out there!
Seeing as the Vs/Vitalogy re-issues will be hitting the streets soon I thought it'd be as good a time as any to giveway a Vs.-era PJ piece. The contest is for an old pop-up display that was originally distributed by Sony/Epic to music stores for the issue of Vs. It measures 10"W x 14"H. The image is the Vs. album cover and under where is says "pearl jam" it reads "the new album". It's got a three-dimensional look to it: There is a pop out of the image of the lamb that attaches to the main board (extends out about an inch) and the backing folds out to create a stand. It was probably featured on a counter in a music store at some point. I'll post an image of it if someone will give me a hint as to how to upload a pic.
The piece is well-loved: it lived thru several years with me in college and many years in my parents' attic, but, all things considered, it's still in pretty good shape.
To win it post by next Tuesday (3/22) at 12p CST the names of some albums you've been listening to during the past few weeks. Shipping is on me.
I'll start: Looking at my playlist, a few albums that I've played recently more than once are Jimi Hendrix "Blues"; Radiohead "The King of Limbs"; Eric B. & Rakim "Follow The Leader"; Shabazz Palaces "Shabazz Palaces"; Alexi Murdoch "Towards The Sun"; Shuggie Otis "Freedom Flight"; Jack Johnson "To The Sea".
