I've had enough of politics for awhile (i think we all have)

so let's talk about Pearl Jam!!

do you think we will see that new record by next year?

what are you expecting musically from them since they have Brenden back? a return to a Yield type of sound or do you think they will throw everything out the window and go in a new direction?

they are almost all fathers now, how do you think that will effect touring?

I am pretty sure they are going in a new direction again and don't return to the Yield sound. That was a very special spontanious record and so its sound, atmosphere etc shouldn't be reproduced. I am really looking forward to the new PJ era and the fruit of the work with Brendan!

I expect short period tour legs by the way considering the family stuffs.

I think a new record early next year- March? I am thinking it will be something like a mix of yeild and avocado. And a tour broken up over the summer and fall.

I'll be surprised if we get a new album in the first half of 2009. Didn't Jeff say they hope to have a record to make starting in January? If that is right then that is just the start of the recording process... there will be re-recording and re-writing and it won't be ready until it's just right... then after mastering and packaging I'm thinking a November 2009 release if there are no unexpected delays. Maybe even a early 2010 release.

A big 75 show tour in 2010 covering North America, Europe, South America, Australia ending in Seattle October 22, 2010.

The kids will travel well and they will love it...

or I could be WAY off........

They have already been in the studio recording at least 2 times this year from various posts on the board.

so let's talk about Pearl Jam!!

do you think we will see that new record by next year? YES.

what are you expecting musically from the since they have Brenden back? a return to a Yield type of sound or do you think they will throw everything out the window and go in a new direction? I THINK WE CAN EXPECT MORE STRAIGHT UP ROCK N ROLL LIKE THE LAST ONE. I CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE B.O'S TOUCH BACK IN THE STUDIO. YOU HEAR AC/DC'S NEW ONE? WE'RE IN FOR A TREAT.

they are almost all fathers now, how do you think that will effect touring?

im not EXXXPECTING, but HOPING that the new album is filled with rockin tunes. No mellow stuff. More along the lines of GO, LAST EXXXIT, SATANS BED, COMATOSE, ONCE, SAVE YOU, BRAIN OF J, etc. Som'n that will make you just get you hyped up!!!!!!
