Freak Accident before a night out...

Thought I'd share this...
My friend just told me he did not go last night to a community function...
Get this....

He was clipping his toe nails and part of a nail flew into his eye and he only got it out now, the next day.

WTF

    I found it hard to believe myself.
    His eye is all red and irritated.
    Moral of the story, wear eye protecting glasses when clipping your nails.

    a tiny fingernail scratching the cornea is extremely painful...I know this first hand

    mine 26 years ago and occasionally still troubles me

    that sounds exactly like some crazy shit that would happen to me

    that is some terrible luck....i mean, what are the odds of that happening
    All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

    Might sound odd, but this is one of the hazards of my job. Usually I manage to miss my eyes and hit my mouth instead :sick:

    I've actually had a nail clipping get into my eye. It sucks. Bad.
