As one of the first bands of the internet era Pearl Jam has won tons of these fan votes conducted on the internet. As the band, and their fans have gotten older their success has tailed off (though not completely). However, since it looks like PJ is going to beat Hendrix (which I might add can be justified in many different ways), can we please get back on the horse one more time and just beat the fucking Beatles. I really want to hear that ninny Cowherd go nutso over that, and I want to tell my parents off that my band is better than their band (even if it's not true), and I want to tell young people who love the Beatles cuz mommy and daddy told them their suckass nursery rhyme shit was sooooo awesome that they should love the Beatles to that my band is better than their band. Now go get em.
