    good god.....

watching the live footage now. tsunami hits japan leveling homes, towns destroyed. cars being picked up and moved as if i picked up a hot wheels car. tsunami warnings for hawaii, guam, and many islands in the pacific. tsunami watches for california, mexico, and countries in northwestern south america.

they are calling this "one of the great quakes in recorded history". they just said this is the fifth strongest earthquake since 1900....haiti was a 7.0. this is an 8.9, 100 times more powerful than the haiti quake. aftershocks of up to 7.1 recorded in the last hour....unfortunately many many people are going to die....

live video shows carnage. it is like watching a hollywood disaster flick...but this is very real...

    :(

yah, friends there are saying the aftershocks are still occurring.
imagine if this happened elsewhere? japan is one of the most earthquake ready places in the world... the carnage would have been a lot worse if it had been somewhere else i think

my thoughts are with your friends and family. i hope that they are all going to be ok. they are saying the strict building codes in Japan have limited some of the damage and may have prevented some deaths from the quake. but the tsunami is the greatest concern because no building codes can't prevent or limit damage from the rush of all of that water. things are just getting swept away. so tragic...

It's gonna hit Hawaii in about 4 hours time. Even Mexico is readying. I didn't realise these things could travel so far.

i would think people would be cheering for planet earth, right now.

WOOO HOOO go earth...wipe all the people off, drown them, burn them all. afterall, this is the same place that always types about population control and how humans are destroying everything. right?

I think we all know that Planet Earth isn't capable of these types of disasters in todays age, this is only due to the destruction of man.
It clear the Humans caused it...

i have never called for "population control" and i am the "fucking idiot"? your response is irrational.

as for waiting a day....i will pass. reason being, people all over the world go through their own "tsunami" each day. simply because, we do hear of it, does not lessen the impact of an individual who may have just lost the innocent life of a loved one. so when you type of populaition control, understand someone, somewhere, is going through their own tsunami.

i do concede though...on many topics, i am a fucking idiot.

nobody on here has called for population control. nobody that i have seen in 8 years of posting on the various forms of this board has advocated population control.

and i did not call YOU a "fucking idiot". i said you are ACTING LIKE an idiot. there is a big difference. with quotes like this i am sure i am not the only one that feels like that.

people on here have people directly affected by these events and to assume that people would be cheering for mother earth and her plate tectonics in the midst of a great human tragedy is inappropriate and a little disconcerting in my opinion.

i will not take the time to look up the amount of times people on this website, wish humans would just disappear, so earth can get back to its natural state. i know what i have read, in just the last year.

people all over the earth are effected(for you billy) each day. only because it is visable on the news, do people care.

as for the fucking idiot comment, no worries....i stand by what i say. i have been called much worse. i do not get offended.
