Hey, jshin and jamburger, I'm going away for a few weeks on 1st August, so if your vinyls STILL haven't arrived by then, I'll put you a second package in the post. It won't be anything special, I'm afraid, but it will be some compensation for the fact the it's taken so long for the postal services to do their job. I still think the original pacakges will arrive, especially as vduboise's arrived just a week or two ago, but I'll do it anyway cos I feel pretty bad about the service from here. It's my own fault as I didn't choose expensive postage because it is second hand vinyl and the cost of sending priority mail as astronomical. I didn't expect normal mail to take this long though.

    T

No worries, pal. If it makes it here, cool. If not, next time. Enjoy your holiday!

Elton John is awesome and always will be. Anyone who can do something like 'Funeral For A Friend' is alright by me.

I saw him at Bristol City a few years back and was in the front row right in front of the piano. After all, it's not tought to barge through a crowd of Elton John fans. He's got fingers like fat sausages but he sure plays a mean piano.

did you go air or sea...sea can take over 3months but is the cheapest way

Kev - Forgot to mention - your package to me reached New York on the 12th (5 days)... I wasn't home and it's been sitting at the post office waiting for me to pick it up since. This Saturday morning will be the first chance I've had to get there, so I'll post then.

Tim - PACKAGE ARRIVED TODAY!!! Only took 60 days according to the May 22nd post mark :lol::lol::lol:

Awesome selections!! I've never heard the McCartney II album so I'm looking forward to checking it out. I do already have Who's Next, but I doubt I'll be passing this along as this is a pristine-looking heavy pressing, different to the one I already have ;) Just awesome, thank you very much!

I'm happy you like the look of the records. Enjoy.

OH SNAP! Forgot to say thanks!

Kev - Very cool sir! Wings Greatest Hits already made it around the turntable a couple of times and I am very familiar with The The. I've yet to listen to the Public Enemy single but will soon. I think someone's going to find that Ben Harper single in a future package though as he's just not my speed.

Matt - I think that Culture Club album might be paired up with that Ben Harper single, but the Credence album definitely makes it to the keep pile.

    Thank you both very much!

HA! I offered to send him a copy of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road to try and sway him over, only to learn he had it already. If that album can't convert him, nothing will.
