The Roots Picnic 2011

pretty cool lineup this year. has anyone ever been to this? what's it like? i've seen shows at festival pier before, just curious how it's setup for the roots fest. definitely considering getting tickets, i've never seen the roots, and i'd love to see some of the other artists on the bill. esperanza spalding, nas, and the dismemberment plan in particular. here's some info.

    i wanted to do a few years ago when vampire weekend played with them but didn't. I remember The Black KEys & TV On The Radio played one year too.

    I never heard of most of those bands for this year though. :oops:
