Seriously, I don't know if I've ever been this excited about new music coming out back to back to back. 2011 is looking to be a great year musically.

    Not to mention that new DBT, Twilight Singers, PJ Harvey, and Cold War Kids has already hit the scene. The first two being solid, solid records.

    Can't wait to hear the new stuff from The Strokes, and I'm dying for my payday this Thursday so I can go get R.E.M. new release.

    Just ordered the new Dropkick Murphys too. Their song "Peg O' My Heart" is stuck in my head. See if you recognize a Mr. Springsteen on backup vocals.

    this year has potential to be one of a kind ---
    Foo FIghters, Eddie, REM, Soundgarden (maybe), 311, Ben Harper, Strokes, World Fire Brigade (new band with brett scallions of Fuel), Seether, Pearl Jam(maybe) all with new records. I'm sure I'm missing an enormous amount too.

    last year was pretty amazing. in mid april last year, on the same day, LCD soundsystem and Broken social scene leaked. Exactly a week later, foals, black keys, minus the bear, band of horses, the national, and gaslight anthem all leaked on the same day. a mere 2 days after that new pornos leaked
