i never liked this song!! one of the very few PJ songs on my "do not play list"
BUT!!!
since Mansfield II i can't get this song out of my fucking head!!
hearing it live (in the front row :):)) has changed my feelings and won me over!
i also think the live version is far superior to the studio version!
thoughts/comments?

You don't wanna be famous, you wanna be shy.
Do your dances alone in your room.
Becoming a star will become your doom.
Bee Girl, be a girl.
Bee Girl, be a girl.
You know time is long, and life is short.
Begin to live while you still can.
Believe in nothing, believe me,
Those who can be trusted can change their mind.
When the anxious is the present, unwrap your gifts, take your time.
Everything you imagine needn't be stuck in your mind.
Bee Girl, be a girl.
Bee Girl, be a girl.
not the easiest song to get us tooo...probably why it came out on lost dogs....lyrics a little cobain like..

Even made sure I had all the lyrics down and correct.
What’s self destruction and how can we last?
"I cannot stop the thought of running in the dark.
Coming up a which way sign. All good truants must decide."

There isn't really a studio version of this song. The version on Lost Dogs was recorded live on the radio show Rockline in 1993.
If you hate something, don't you do it too
no shit. i often wondered how/where that was recorded because of the part where Ed starts to laugh on the "those who can be trusted" line.
ya learn something new every day!
