Milwaukee Show--Need Help w/ Ideas

The show last night was amazing...but it was incredibly special for me.

I missed out on 10c tix, I managed to get two single seats...way up at the top of the balcony. My wife and I were planning to try to talk whoever was sitting next to the highest seat we had and ask them to move down to our other spot so we could be together. I was thrilled just to be in the building and be able to hear Ed.

As we made our way to our seats, a very nice man came up to us, said, "Good evening folks, would you like to upgrade those?" I was shocked and said nothing...he said, "I work for Ed, here, take these...front row."

I shook his hand, said thank you and sure enough...we were front row...almost dead center.

I was damned near catatonic the entire show. As ARC was winding down, the security came up to the front row and told us "Get up to the stage!"...we got to stand up and lean on the stage while Ed rocked "Hard Sun"...I got to shake Ed's hand (so did my wife)...and as the song was winding down with Ed doing some heavy-duty guitar thrashing...he was less than an arms length away from us...it was incredible.

Anyway...the universe (and Ed) paid me a huge one last night...I want to keep the good stuff going.

How can we "pay this forward"? Gimme ideas...I'm still on top of the world...my wife if still glowing...

It was incredible and I need to do something to help share this incredible generosity that was visited on us.

holy shit. that is a great story!! i love hearing positive experiences at these shows. seems like lots of people are bent on talking about negative things that happen, like screaming fans and drunk people. maybe they need to not sell alcohol at concerts if people can't show a little restraint. just my biased fucking opinion.

you should send an e-mail to 10C. that's what i did after a minor ticket debacle in DC this summer.

On another note, I'd really like to know how I could get a note to Ed's management.

I want to write a letter and thank them for the seats.

They could have made a mint selling front row seats...but instead they gave 'em away to folks in the nosebleeds.

I can't NOT say thank you.

I think is why we all love Ed/ PJ. I know it may not be cost effective, but buy on the field tix for the brewers, or glass seats for a Badger hockey game, etc...stand outside the venue and hand them to a father and child walking in or looking to scalp cheap seats. I think you would give a kid something to remember for the rest of his life. I have had good seats for many sporting events, but never anything up close and personal. I congratulate you for not only being the lucky one, but for looking for a way to repay the kindness you received to someone else.

    Great idea.

I've got great season tix for UW hockey.

Maybe I can try the "trade up" thing with someone this season.

I'll give 'em my up front seats for their nosebleeds...

    More ideas welcome.

I wanna keep the good vibes movin'.

Would like to know the same thing too. Can't thank him enough for the signed poster he donated for the White Ribbon Campaign. Nick - Director of Development from White Ribbon wants to thank too! :)

I am 27, and I am back in college after a hiatus. I have 2 student season hockey tix. It would be fun to meet before a game.
