Original Alice In Chains bassist, Mike Starr passed away today. :(

    I was really hoping to see Mike start a successful band or join one. That seemed to be happening with Days of the New but his addiction caught up with him. I'm still crushed about his death, can't believe it.

    Him and Layne are together in heaven rocking out.

    And I am paying tribute by listening to Facelift.

    I'm absolutely gutted, more so than I woulda imagined!! The original line-up were just incredible, brilliant brilliant band... Think it also reminds of seeing them long long time ago when I was a teenager, dunno where the years have gone... :(

    I really felt bad for the guy on celebrity rehab. It seemed like he was closer to Layne than anyone else in the band.

    And everyone seemed to shrug him off as a shitty person before he was on tv and his death just because he was kicked out. (myself included)

    such a shame... for his family and for the staley's - layne's mom really seemed to be pulling for him based on her appearance on celebrity rehab

    just another reason why i fucking hate that show... whether those people are getting legit treatment or not, people in serious dire straights like this should not be on public display... they need 100% focus on getting well

    I totally agree with your opinion on the show. I've always hated the idea of getting entertainment out of somebody elses stint in rehabilitation.
