Seriously? Where did you hear that?

Thanks. Just saw it here as well: http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/ ... id=6193850
Kind of crazy, he is an incredible athlete but has age way against him. Especially for the NFL and his position.

    He's an Ass

He's acting like an ass, but he was pure class in his prime and a Giants legend.

I dunno guys, I heard the market in the NFL for 37 year old runningbacks is expanding. There could be some real interest out there for him.

I lost respect for him the year he retired and bad mouthed Coughlin, the guy was always great, but 20 fumbles a year were killin him, Coughlin taught him how to hold the ball and take a hit without fumbling, 2006 was one of the great years any football player ever had, so what does he do, retire, become a reporter, and bad mouth his former Coach and Quarterback, who go on to win the Superbowl. I think he should have appericated what Coughlin did for him. I'm not gona get into his personal life, thats his business. Now he wants to make a comeback, he just dissappoints me.

i never understood the retirement. i'd play until they had to cart me off, or i atleast one a SB.

    same with Robert Smith.

According to nfl.com he had 6 fumbles in 2003 which was his career high.

i'm see that too, that can't be right. thats as a runningback, gotta add the fumbles as a receiver as well, which still only work out to 9 as a career high. i remember feeling it was much higher.

Who the hell would let this guy on their team?

In his prime he was really good, but his prime was a long time ago!
