Is it me or is this record very underrated?

Found it for like $3 in a bargain bin, figured I'd try it out. I think it's pretty damn good! I like its glam rock-style, and the production throughout is very well done. I don't understand the bad rep it seems to have. I like it a hell of a lot better than their new one, that's for sure.

    I agree! It's very underated. It's too bad it didn't do any better, it's got some beautiful songs that are very underappreciated. A different side of STP, that not enough people know about.

    very underrated!

    I still listen to it. Thought there should have been more singles off that besides Days Of The Week. Was Hollywood Bitch considered a single? I personally loved "Coma" and "Too Cool Queenie". Also liked Regeneration, Long Way Home and A Song For Sleeping.

    extremely underrated. i'm admittedly a sucker for psychedelic songs and echoey shit. with that said, the experimentation on this album is sick. bi-polar bear, hello its late, regeneration and long way home are amazing.

    Agreed. I think that song really sums up the DeLeo brothers, the playing on that song is really expressive. SLDD is great and underrated, it has some of STP's best stuff.

    i was going to say its probably my 3rd favourite album by them (with purple and no. 4 being number one and two) but i was afraid i would get crucified from the core and tiny music fans. :lol:

    It was always hit and miss for me. I prefer to go back to Tiny Music.... Here comes the bashing... :D

    Couldn't get into it... Can't get into (self titled new album) either.. I have tried and tried, I have them both and I still go back and listen but to no avail.....No4 was the last STP album for me... Oh well... STP's still a cool band...
