I think, given the lyrics, that NYC would be the perfect place to debut Otherside.

other side is such a deep moving song - it is beautiful. I always wondered why they haven't played it. Jeff is a good song writer

Pretty sure that's in reference to a tag for Daughter of Hold On which is a different song by a different artist that happens to have the same name as the PJ song. I wanna say a Tom Waits song? Could be very wrong about that though.

I tried to start a mini-campaign for Otherside at the 2nd Bridge School show in 2003...my friend and I had 1st row seats (lucked out with TM when they added the second show) and I had a made a little sign with OTHERSIDE on it. But I got so wrapped up in the show and they only played 7 songs, that we didn't hold it up until about the 5th song. Ed saw it and pointed it out to Jeff who chuckled but that was the extent of it.

It was a short-lived campaign...but maybe I should dig out that sign again for MSG!!!

It just seems that the songs Jeff writes the music and lyrics for get no love, excpet for maybe Nothing As It Seems.

Although, it could all be Stones fault.

How about following on from Torino 06 when they played the whole of Avocado in one show, they do the whole of Lost Dogs in a show - Jeff and Stone could step up for Sweet Lew and Don't Gimme No Lip and Ed could go for his fag break....think I'm really onto something here ;)

Anyway we should keep this on Page 1, you never know someone from the band may pass this way, read the thread and think HELL WHAT A GREAT IDEA! :)
