Was Fraiser the only real spin off that actually did well in ratings?
Happy Days had both Laverne and Shirley and Mork Mindy as spin-offs.
How was Mork and Mindy a spin off of Happy days?!?

    Just read about it.  NM

    Dark Matter - SyFy/Space channels

Thankfully The Expanse was picked up after cancellation by Amazon Prime.

Currently worried about Wynonna Earp.  Picked up last year for seasons 3 & 4 by SyFy,
but their production company is struggling financially so production is currently on hiatus.  Fingers crossed that financing comes through.

I loved the style and the acting, but it just kind of meandered aimlessly.   I lost interest before cancellation.

The Firm. Great book, great movie and all it got was one season as a show and I enjoyed it. But apparently not enough did.

It’s been mentioned already I think... Life! I’m glad I still have the original version with The Frames soundtrack. The songs and Glens voice fit the scenes perfectly

Designated Survivor is on Netflix now. But that was a surprise it was canceled by ABC as I thought it was doing well

I'm watching the 3 seasons Netflix now, and really enjoy it a lot - I'm super bummed that there won't be more seasons (I've yet to find out if they even conclude the storyline at all at the end of season 3... please, nobody tell me - I want to find out on my own. I'm about halfway through 3rd season).

I'll be at least a bit surprised if anyone is familiar with this show:
Danny Aielle stared in Dellaventura and played a former New York City detective turned private detective who takes on cases the legal system failed to solve or settle in a fair manner.  I thought this show was great!  But only 14 episodes were filmed and the last one never aired before the show was pulled.  I've never understood why it didn't get better rating.  Wrong time slot maybe?  Such a shame! I wish I could find these on DVD!

“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.
